After year one, two paths: keep hosting with us for $9/month (hosting only, CMS access, no other services) - or we migrate the site to your own free Vercel account on a 30-minute call. You own everything end-to-end.
If at some point you do need help beyond what the CMS handles (a new page, a new feature, a content sprint), you can request it ad-hoc: $75/hour for development, or quoted as a small project.
Fair question. Three things to know:
1. Your domain is registered in your name. Not ours. Whatever happens to Pulpería, your domain stays yours and points wherever you want.
2. Your code is yours. The full site source lives in a GitHub repo we transfer to you on request - at any time, even pre-emptively. Standard Next.js or HTML/CSS. Any front-end developer in Costa Rica (or anywhere) can pick it up.
3. We keep an emergency-exit doc on file. "If you need to move your site somewhere else, here are the 4 things to do." Plain English. So you're never trapped.
We say this out loud because most agencies don't. The site is yours. Always.
Two different things, and the distinction matters.
The CMS lets you edit text, photos, prices, and content yourself - anytime, at no extra cost. It's built into every site. Swap a hero image, update your nightly rate, add a new paragraph, fix a typo. No waiting on us.
A dev request is for the things the CMS can't do: adding a whole new page, building a new feature, integrating with a new tool, restructuring a section, designing something custom. You submit via WhatsApp or the request link, we quote if it's outside your monthly allowance ($150-$400 typical), you approve, we ship in 3-5 business days.

No. Use them or lose them each month. This keeps the price predictable for both of us. If you don't need dev work, choose Online - the CMS handles your day-to-day edits anyway.
Short answer: you do, directly. With Extra builds we connect your site to Stripe, PayPal, and/or SINPE Móvil via OAuth. You create your own merchant account on each platform, you are the merchant of record, money flows from guest to your bank account.
We never touch the money. We are the technical integrator, not a payment processor. Same legal model as Shopify or Squarespace - no per-booking commission to us, ever.
Stripe directly supports merchants in the US, EU, UK, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and many others - but not Costa Rica directly. If your business is registered in a Stripe-supported country, we set up Stripe Connect for you. If your business is Costa Rica-only, two paths:
Path A - PayPal + SINPE. PayPal Business works in CR, takes cards from international guests, and we add SINPE Móvil QR for Tico guests paying locally. Slightly worse UX than on-page card forms but fully functional. No incorporation needed.
Path B - US LLC for Stripe. Incorporate a US LLC via Stripe Atlas (~$500 one-time, ~$100/year). Unlocks the full Stripe experience: on-page card forms, automatic deposits, lowest fees. We can recommend the right service for this.
